Adventure Bound Books (ABB) is hiring a part-time Bookseller to support the day-to-day happenings of the bookstore by successfully performing customer service and retail activities. This position is not structured to move to full time hours, but any Bookseller currently on the team could apply for a full time position on the team should one become available in the future.
This Bookseller position will be scheduled for Friday (11am-3pm) and Saturday (11am-3pm) shifts primarily with additional, variable hours throughout the rest of the week as needed and available. This is not a remote position. Applicants must possess experience in sales and customer service, a drive and internal motivation that would allow them to meet sales goals, initiative, and a passion for stories. Starting pay is $10-12/hour based on experience. The bookstore is striving to move all team members towards a living wage as quickly as possible. The anticipated start date is March 2022 but the position will remain open until the ideal candidate is found.
